Fatty foods are not a good choice prior to bedtime

Never eat fatty foods before bedtime as fat slows down your digestion by a great margin and you don’t want that. When you go to sleep your body should be in relaxed state, but if you stomach is digesting food all the time this is not a good signal.

It is also advised that one to two hours prior to sleeping one should not eat heavy food. Milk or tea is recommended, but a juicy steak with potato isn’t. I hope this information will help you obtain better sleep and that these foods that help you sleep are new to you.
